1811 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Small 8. PCGS graded AU-55. Steel-gray with light champagne toning at the borders. While housed in a PCGS holder classifying this specimen as a Large 8 variety, further inspection leads us to believe this is a Small 8. Furthermore, it appears to be Overton-108 (Rarity-2) quickly recognized by the crude interlocking circles of the 8 in date. We encourage all potential bidders to confirm our suspicion (PCGS # 6096) .
Estimated Value $275 - 325.
